Outlandish Recordings, an Athens-based label,  since 2014 releases Music works by both Greek and non-Greek  artists from the fields like that of Avantgarde, Jazz, Alternative Songwiters, Film Music and other innovative recordings, while the label's catalogue will also include live recordings from the Small Music Theatre in Athens. Since January 2017 the label is a branch of MASSIVE PRODUCTIONS



Sofia Avramidou is a Greek composer and singer. Having graduated from the Composition Departments of the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki and the National Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome, she is currently pursuing a Post-graduate Cursus Program on Composition and Computer Music at the “IRCAM” (Institute for Research and Coordination in Acoustics/Music) in Paris. During her classical studies she got extensively involved with traditional music and improvisation, emphasizing particularly in the folk style. “Binôme” is the amalgam of contemporary compositional techniques and the traditional/folk style. Among her acclaimed compositions is her score for Evangelia Kranioti’s film “Obscuro Barroco” (Teddy Award, Berlin International Film Festival, 2018) and a Chamber Opera for the Biennale
of Venice (2018). Sofia Avramidou is recipient of the Goffredo Petrassi Prize, awarded by the President of the Italian Republic.
